Inspiration from the knitting corner

I'm lucky to call emerging knitting legend, Kora DeBeck a close friend. She's best known for turning out phenomenal baby sweaters. What makes them so great? They appear flawless thanks to her keen attention to detail and her willingness to splurge on quality yarn.

Here's a gem she made a couple of years ago. It's Lillie's Little Sweater from Cottage Creations made with Dream in Color's 100% Australian Merino in plum paisley. I believe it was one of her first attempts at a sweater. Impressive for a beginner...or anyone.

Here's Lillie's Little Sweater again in green with a coordinating eggplant/blueberry toque. Incredibly, Kora's sweaters look better than the sample on the Cottage Creation website.

After Kora mastered the basic sweater, she moved onto a slightly more complex pattern. (Note the stitch counter. What a nerd!)

Here's the finished cardigan. Pattern by knitting guru Elizabeth Zimmerman, 100% Merino wool from Tanis Fiber Arts. Insanely cute right? Love, love the pink trim. I think it will fit Puddle, Kora. Wink wink!
